The Construction of Section Sandanski – Kulata of Struma Motorway under Operational Program Transport is Completed

Lot 4 Sandanski – Kulata of Struma motorway from km 423+800 to km 438+500 was officially opened today. The Project is cо-financed by the Cohesion Fund of the European Union and the National Budget under Operational Program Transport 2007-2013.

The Chairman of the Management Board of Road Infrastructure Agency, Eng. Lazar Lazarov, conducted with the media representatives a joint inspection along the entire 15-kilometer route-bed of Lot 4 of Struma Motorway – from Sandanski to Border Control Checkpoint Kulata. The inspection proved that the information about a landslip of a motorway section near Sandanski that was stated in the media and the social networks is definitely not true.

Nearly BGN 66 Million of the Budget Invested in Section Belokopitovo – Kaspichan of Hemus Motorway

The section Belokopitovo – Kaspichan of Hemus Motorway from km 337+302 to km 342+200 and the biggest road junction in our country – road junction Belokopitovo were launched for traffic. It will connect with road I-2 Ruse – Varna and with Road I-4 Koritna – Belokopitovo. The total length of the section is 4,898 km. The Project is under Program “New Construction” of Road Infrastructure Agency and it has been implemented in full with funds from the national budget. The investment is for nearly BGN 66 million.
