The sale of Vignettes for 2016 Starts Up from 15 December

From tomorrow – 15 December, the sale of the vignettes for 2016 starts up. The Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Lilyana Pavlova and the Chairman of the Management Board of the Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA), eng. Lazar Lazarov, presented the appearance of next year’s vignettes.  

Over 10.6 Million BGN (5.42 Million Euro) Have Been Invested in the Reconstruction of 15 km of Road III-867 Madan - Zlatograd - Benkovski

The rehabilitation and reconstruction of 15.4 km of Road III-867 Madan – Zlatograd – Benkovski was completed. The third-class road is on the territory of the regions of Smolyan and Kurdzhali and is the only connection to Zlatograd and the surrounding populated areas. It connects the Municipality of Zlatograd with the neighboring municipalities - Madan, Nedelino and Kirkovo, and provides the connection between Road II-86 Rudozem - Smolyan – Asenovgrad and Road I-5 Kurdzhali – Makaza. The investment is for over 10.6 million BGN (5.42 Million Euro). The project is under the European Territorial Cooperation Programme Greece – Bulgaria 2007-2013.

The Rehabilitation of 15 km of Road III-867 Madan - Zlatograd has been completed with EU Funds

On Monday, 14th of December, in the city of Sofia, a press conference will be held on the occasion of the completed rehabilitation and reconstruction of 15.4 km of Road III-867 Madan – Zlatograd - Benkovski. The third-class road, which is on the territory of both Smolyan and Kurdzhali districts, is the only link to Zlatograd and the surrounding settlements. It has been renovated with funds of the Programme “European Territorial Cooperation Greece - Bulgaria 2007- 2013”. The Programme is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (85%) and by the national budgets (15%).

The Road Infrastructure Agency Received the Prize for Innovation at the 17th Edition of the World GIS Day

The Road Infrastructure Agency received the prize „Development of Innovative Geographic Information System (GIS) for Qualitative Electronic Servicing” at the 17th edition of the World GIS Day in Bulgaria. It was jointly held under the patronage of the Ministry of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications and a number of leading organizations in our country.
