11 Tenders Opened for Extensive Conceptual Design for the Bypass of the Town of Gabrovo and the Tunnel under Shipka Peak

The tenders for the “Development of an Extensive Conceptual Design for Project: Road III-5004 “Bypass of the Town of Gabrovo” from km 0+000 to km 31+000, a Tunnel under Shipka Peak with the Length of 3220 m from km 24+400 to km 27+620” were opened in Road Infrastructure Agency. The Project is cо-financed by the Cohesion Fund of the European Union and the national budget through Operational Program Transport 2007-2013.

Infrastructure Agency was awarded the prize for the most active Beneficiary of Operational Program Regional Development 2007-2013. Minister Desislava Terzieva handed over the distinction to the Chairman of the Management Board of Road Infrastructure Agency, eng. Stefan Chaykov, at the annual conference for the presentation of the progress on the implementation of Operational Program Regional Development in Stara Zagora.

Start of Construction of Montana Bypass Funded under OP „Transport“

The construction of a bypass of the town of Montana - road I-1 (E-79) from km 102+060 to km 114+512.20 was launched. The project is co-funded by the Cohesion Fund of the European Union under OP "Transport" 2007-2013 and the state budget. The total cost of the contract for this grant is 50 580 711, 99 BGN incl. VAT.  

The Construction of the Bypass Road of the Town of Montana Starts

The Chairman of the Management Board of the Road Infrastructure Agency eng. Stephan Chaykov signed a contract for construction of site Road I–1 (Е79) „Bypass of the town of Montana” from km 102+060 to km 114+512,20. The project is co-financed by the EU Cohesion Fund and the national budget under Operational Programme on Transport 2007-2013. The official ceremony was attended by the Minister of Regional Development Dessislava Terzieva and eng. Lazar Lazarov, Member of the Management Board. The construction contract is in the amount of 46 572 618,11 BGN, VAT included. Contractor of the project is “Obhod Montana” company, consisting of Trace Group Hold JSC, Sofia and PSI JSC, Stara Zagora. On behalf of the constructor the contract was signed by eng. Tcvetan Tconev.
