11 Tenders Opened for Extensive Conceptual Design for the Bypass of the Town of Gabrovo and the Tunnel under Shipka Peak
The tenders for the “Development of an Extensive Conceptual Design for Project: Road III-5004 “Bypass of the Town of Gabrovo” from km 0+000 to km 31+000, a Tunnel under Shipka Peak with the Length of 3220 m from km 24+400 to km 27+620” were opened in Road Infrastructure Agency. The Project is cо-financed by the Cohesion Fund of the European Union and the national budget through Operational Program Transport 2007-2013.
The tenders opened in conformity with the sequence of their receipt in the registry office of Road Infrastructure Agency are those of:

- Consortium Grupo Tekopi-Alve (including Tekopi AD, Alve Consult EOOD and Tekopi Engineering AD);
- Association Via Plan – Amberg 2013 (including Amberg Engineering Slovakia EOOD and Via Plan EOOD);
- Iliya Burda EOOD;
- Rutex OOD;
- Patproject EOOD;
- Transconsult-22 OOD;
- Consortium Mosti (including Mosti Bulgaria OOD and Mosti Katowice Sp.z.o.o).
The Goal is to determine the optimal length of the tunnel under Shipka Peak, with proven technical and economic expedience of the places of the portals and to form the visible parts of the structure, the facilities and the installations in the tunnel functionally and architecturally in harmony with the environment.
