The traffic on the bridge at the village of Pisanets on road I-2 Ruse – Razgrad is restored
The drivers already pass on the repaired bridge over the Beli Lom River beside the village of Pisanets at the 34th kilometer of Road I-2 Ruse - Razgrad. The carriageway on the facility and the sidewalk blocks were completely renewed; new expansion joints, restrictive systems, rails, the horizontal marking etc. were assembled.
The repair and rehabilitation works of the facility will continue along its low-rise construction /poles, abutments, beams etc./, by which the traffic along Pisanski Bridge would not be hindered. Under the Contract they should be completed at the end of October. The Road Infrastructure Agency will do its best for the assigned activities to be implemented earlier than the term anticipated under the Contract - around 15 October.
The rehabilitation of the bridge over the Beli Lom River is performed with funds from the budget of the Road Infrastructure Agency. The investment is over 5 million BGN. The facility is with length of 383 m and is nearly 65 m high. It has been in operation since 1974 and its bearing structure has not been renewed so far.
The construction activities are implemented by Company under the Obligations and Contracts Act ORS-T, in which the following participate: ORS Infrastructure LTD and Patinzheneringstroy-T EAD. The construction supervision is carried out by Plovdivinvest AD and the author’s supervision is carried out by Traffic Holding LTD.
