The Offers for Construction of the Toll System Will be Opened Today

The offers of the participants in the public procurement for design, construction and introduction of electronic system for collection of fees for using the national road network will be opened today, 16^th August. The system will be based on a distance traveled, for vehicles with a total technically permissible maximum laden mass over 3,5 t (toll) and time based for passenger cars with a total technically permissible laden maximum mass of up to 3,5 t (electronic vignette).

The deadline for implementation of the public procurement is 19 months. Its indicative value is 200 million BGN, VAT excluded.

The offers will be opened on August 16 this year, at 5pm, in room 702 at the Road Infrastructure Agency.
