The Government Provided BGN 119 Million for Road Projects

The Government approved additional expenditures in the amount of BGN 119 161 000 under the budget of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works for 2016 for Financing Activities for Preventive Maintenance of the Road Network mainly in Northern Bulgaria, for repair rehabilitation activities and for final construction of road infrastructural projects in the country.

The funds will be used for the final construction and the rehabilitation of projects of exceptionally important state and public interest aimed at the development of the road infrastructure and enhancement of the safety of the traffic. Roads in the regions of Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Razgrad, Silistra, the tunnels Vitinya and Echemishka and the viaduct Eleshnitsa of Hemus Motorway and others are amongst them.
