The Bridge over the Marash River at Road I-7 – near the Military Polygon of Novo Selo Will Be Reconstructed with Funds from the Armed Forces of the USA

The Road Infrastructure Agency launches public procurements for selection of contractors for construction and supervision at the reconstruction of the bridge over the Marash River at km 228+681 of road I-7 Shumen – Yambol – Granitovo – Lesovo.

The Project will be financed by the Armed forces of the United States of America under a Technical Agreement between the Road Infrastructure Agency, the Ministry of Defense and the United States European Command.

The facility is located not far from the training military polygon Novo Selo. After its reconstruction the facility will be capable to carry military equipment as well. The goal is to strengthen the arch of the bridge. New rails, safety fence as well as surface protective coating of the concrete surfaces will be mounted. The sidewalk blocks will also be reconstructed.

The term for execution of the contract is 200 calendar days and the indicative value is BGN 670 000 exclusive of VAT. The criterion for the selection of a Contractor is the economically most advantageous tender.

The forecast price of the public procurement for construction supervision is BGN 30 000 exclusive of VAT.

The Tenderers for the two public procurements may submit tenders up to 17:00 PM on 17 March 2016.
